Bob Robeson & Associates and Darlington Livestock Market are owned by Bob Robeson and his family, who live in Chesterfield, South Carolina. Bob is married to the former Karen McLaughlin has one son, Conner. Bob is a 1989 graduate of the Mendenhall School of Auctioneering and a 1991 graduate of Coker College, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. From January 1, 1993 until December 1, 2002, Bob served as the Coroner of Chesterfield County, running in each election unopposed. Bob resigned his commission in 2002 to pursue the auction business full time. In November 1996, Bob purchased the Darlington Livestock Market. Bob and his family have worked tirelessly to make the market a leader in the South Carolina livestock auction industry. The Darlington Livestock Market is now the largest weekly hog and goat auction in South Carolina. Since resigning from the Coroner’s Office, Bob and his staff have put special emphasis on the business liquidation, equipment, and real estate side of the business. Bob Robeson & Associates now works extensively with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court trustees for the District of South Carolina as well as conducting auctions for banks, attorneys, and other interests throughout North and South Carolina. Aaron has a reputation as one of the best bid callers in both Carolinas and has competed in the World Livestock Auctioneers Championship several times. Aaron is married and has four daughters . Gary Lenox – Auctioneer/Realtor – Graduate of Reppert’s School of Auctioneering with 40 years experience in the auction and livestock industry. Gary is our broker in charge and sold livestock for over 25 years at a major livestock auction in North Carolina. Gary is a licensed broker in both Carolinas and Virginia and is a native of Bennettsville, South Carolina. Gary is very active in his church and has traveled extensively on mission trips to Central America and Africa. Gary is very easy to talk to and works very hard for his clients. He is also the Sheriff of Chesterfield County, South Carolina. He retired as an agent for the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division with over 25 years service to South Carolina.
